Organ and Tissue Authority

The Organ and Tissue Authority is responsible for leading implementation of the Australian Government’s National Reform Agenda to increase organ and tissue donation for transplantation. The Authority’s national DonateLife community awareness and education program encourages Australians to discover the facts, make and register informed donation decisions and most importantly discuss and know family members’ donation decisions.

Australian Sports Commission

The Australian Sports Commission is a Major Partner of Transplant Australia and the Transplant Games. The Australian Sports Commission is proud to celebrate the success of organ and tissue donation and transplantation in Australia through the Australian Transplant Games. As a major sponsor, The Australian Sports Commission is supporting Transplant Australia to showcase the positive outcomes of transplantation through athletes attending the Games.

Gift of Life Foundation

The Gift of Life Foundation was established to make Australians aware of our organ transplant crisis and encourage more Australians to become donors. The Foundation works to promote awareness by working with sporting organisations and sportsmen and women to actively support organ donation. In 2013 The Gift of Life Foundation signed a memo of understanding to work with Transplant Australia’s.

SAV’D

Student Ambassadors and Volunteers for Organ Donation (SAV’D) is a student organisation that exists to promote the life-saving benefits of transplantation. Working out of major universities in NSW, the organisation hold annual awareness events and seminars to help educate and promote donation. In 2013 SAV’D signed an agreement to work with Transplant Australia.
