Brad Rossiter Drives Organ Donation in Batemans Bay

By October 1, 2015No Comments

Brad Rossiter we salute you for your tireless effort to raise awareness and aid people wishing to join the Organ Donor Register. Your work is greatly appreciated!

If you’re on the New South Wales south coast this weekend, please call in to Bridge Plaza where The Eurobodalla Renal Support Group & Organ Donor Awareness continue their commitment to promote the important message of ‘Decide, Donate, Discuss’ this weekend in Batemans Bay.

Brad Rossiter, founder of the group, is a dual organ transplant recipient (kidney and pancreas), legally blind and a double leg amputee. Hear him share his deeply personal and inspirational story this weekend and take heed of his message.

“As an Australian please make sure you have registered on the Australian Organ Donor Register. Then tell your family so that they know, understand and honour your decision. Shake your hands on it, cause it’s the Aussie thing to do,” says Brad.

The Eurobodalla Renal Support Group & Organ Donor Awareness will be appearing at:

Bridge Plaza, Batemans Bay

When: Friday 2nd October and Saturday 3rd October

Time: Between 9.30am to 5.00pm

Brad will also be handing out organ donor registration forms on both days so if you’re in the area please stop by, say hello and get your registration form.

Let this weekend be the time when you sit down with your family and have the chat that saves lives.

For media enquiries please contact Brad Rossiter directly on 0458 534 470.

Do you have an event coming up where you will be promoting organ donation? Let us know and wherever possible we’ll assist you to spread the word. Let’s work together to reach the widest audience. Email your event details, message and imagery to: natasha.chadwick@transplant.org.au
