It is with much sadness that Transplant Australia announces the passing of David Taylor.
David was someone who really made the most of life and was such a great role model to transplant recipients – he gave everything his best and took part in as many of life’s activities as he could.
He loved the Australian Transplant Games with Newcastle in 2012 being his first and then Melbourne in 2014.
David’s name kept popping up as an entrant in so many events and he gave them his all.
David received a double lung transplant in May 2000 and was always so grateful for the gift he received.
Our condolences go to his wife Annie and family.
