The aims of the Australian Transplant Cricket Club (ATCC) are simple – to provide cricket-loving members of Transplant Australia, and supportive opponents, with the opportunity to demonstrate through ‘living proof’ the Second Innings in Life that organ and tissue donation gives. The Cricket Club exists to publicly celebrate and recognise the continuing gift of life granted by donors and their families and actively encourage more Australians to become organ and tissue donors.

The ATCC exists to give transplant recipients, donor families and living donors the opportunity to promote donation through the sport that they love. ATCC teams are generally made up of organ or tissue donation recipients of competitive mixed ability and some signature matches require all players to be recipients. But the team is not always completely made up of transplant recipients, to help the ATCC present complete full on-field teams.

The ATCC is a great way to show your support for organ and tissue donation, as well as an opportunity for transplant recipients to remain physically active.

In 2014, the ATCC celebrated it’s 10th Anniversary as a cricket club. Thank you to everyone who has been involved over the years, we are looking forward to many more years.
