The Art of Giving Exhibition

More than 100 beautiful pieces of art will form a unique collection this month to be auctioned to raise funds to help families attend the World Transplant Games in Perth in 2023.

The artworks, from renowned to part-time amateurs (including an eight-year-old who wants a truck dealership when he grows up) cover an array of topics, styles and mediums with a special focus on Western Australia landscape and seascapes and Indigenous works.

The exhibition has been brought together by the WA transplant community with the sole purpose of helping Western Australian families attend the World Transplant Games next year.

Opening night of the exhibition is at Kidogo Arthouse, Bathers Beach, Mews Rd, Freemantle on Tuesday, October 11 from 5.30pm. The exhibition runs from 11 – 14 October.

Transplant Australia is a national charity representing transplant recipients, donor families, living donors and all those touched by organ and tissue donation and transplantation. A primary focus of the organisation is to raise awareness of the need to increase organ donor rates in Australia.  About the World Transplant Games

The World Transplant Games, hosted by Transplant Australia and sanctioned by the World Transplant Games Federation, will be held in Perth, Western Australia, in April 2023. The Australian Government through the Commonwealth Department of Health and the Organ & Tissue Authority are major partners of the Games.
