As part of the opening celebrations of the 2016 Australian Transplant Games
Transplant Australia is pleased to announce the staging of our first-ever dragon boat racing as part of the opening celebrations of the Australian Transplant Games.
Three races will take place immediately prior to the Opening Ceremony of the 15th Australian Transplant Games at Penrith Regatta Centre, Penrith.
Each team is encouraged to find between 16 and 20 participants to compete over the one kilometre course to the finish line where the Opening Ceremony will take place between 9.00am and 10.00am.
Following the opening ceremony the DonateLife Fun Run will take place followed by an afternoon of petanque and sailing.
Registration for dragon boat racing will commence on December 1.
