Ern Halliday Holiday Camp, Whitford

Join us for an unforgettable weekend of fun and friendship at the Junior Activity Camp, taking place from 8-10 December at the picturesque Ern Halliday Recreation Camp.

This event is open to all junior transplant recipients and promises a great weekend of adventure, learning and friendship.  There is the two-night camp for teens aged 10-17 years and an activity morning on Sunday for kids aged 4-9 years.

Teen Camp for 10-17 year olds

From thrilling outdoor activities to engaging workshops, we have a packed schedule that guarantees a memorable time for everyone. Activities include:

  • Abseiling,
  • Jacobs Ladder
  • Ocean paddling
  • Caving
  • Archery
  • Team building and more

On Saturday night there’s a special night out at Archie Brothers Cirque Electriq, with modern and retro arcade games, an XD Theatre, the best in Virtual Reality, dodgem cars and more.  It promises to be a great night out.

Kids Activity Morning for 4-9 year olds

If the kids aren’t ready for a sleepover camp this is a great alternative for the younger kids to come and have some fun.  On Sunday 10 December from 9am – 12pm, the activities will include:

  • Kite making
  • Archery
  • Lost Pirate

At the conclusion of the camp, everyone is invited head to Whitford Nodes Park to join Transplant Australia (WA) Members & Friends Christmas Picnic which commences at 12.30pm. All transplant recipients and their families are welcome. BYO picnic.

Supported by Transplant Australia and Lotterywest, our camp offers a unique opportunity for young transplant recipients to connect with peers who understand their journey and share similar experiences.  Don’t miss out on this chance to create lasting memories and friendships in a supportive and welcoming environment.
