Transplant Football World Cup Trials:

Transplant Australia Football Club will be holding national selection trials for the 2026 Transplant Football World Cup, taking place in Frankfurt, Germany from 6–12 September 2026.
For the first time ever, the World Cup will feature a Women’s Exhibition Event, an exciting milestone we are thrilled to be part of – trials for the women’s team will also be held on the 15 February.
We warmly invite transplant recipients of all skill levels to come along and participate. Whether you’re an experienced player or returning to the game, the trials are designed to be supportive, inclusive, and welcoming. This is a unique opportunity to represent Australia and the transplant community on the world stage, while celebrating the gift of life through football.
Eligibility Requirements
- Aged 16 years or older
- Have received a solid organ or bone marrow transplant
Trials Cost:
- Trial Only: $45
- Trail with 1 night accommodation: $200
- Trail with 2 nights accommodation: $355

The World Transplant Games Federation (WTGF) has announced Germany as the host nation for the 2026 Transplant Football World Cup.
Following the success of the 2025 World Transplant Games in Dresden, we are excited to send an Australian team to Germany in 2026 to represent both Australia and the transplant community on the world stage.
For the first time, the 2026 World Cup will feature a Women’s Exhibition Event – an incredible milestone we are excited to be apart of.
