Ian’s contribution to the Transplant Australia community was invaluable, particularly in assisting his wife Margaret with the NSW Transplant Australia committee.
Ian represented Australia at many World Transplant Games as well as participating in and assisting with the Australian Transplant Games since the late 1990’s.
He was loved for his wit, frankness and laid-back approach to life.
Ian received a kidney transplant in October 1989 and his family and friends are so grateful for the 26 extra years that they were able to share with him.
Ian will be sadly missed and remembered with affection by us all.
