Whether you are aiming to participate in the Australian or World Transplant Games, compete in other sports, further your education or pursue an artistic venture, there are numerous scholarship and subsidy opportunities available to help you achieve your dreams, whatever they may be.
We have compiled a list of different scholarships and subsidies from around Australia that you may be eligible for.

Scholarships & Subsidies
Local Para Champions
The Local Para Champions program provides financial assistance for coaches, officials and competitors aged 12-24 participating in state, national or international championships for athletes with a disability. Successful applications can receive $750-$1000 towards the cost of attending their championships.

RedKite Dare to Dream Scholarship
The Dare to Dream Scholarship is open to any teenager (aged 13-18 years old) in Australia who has cancer or has had cancer at any point in their life. Teens can receive up to $5 000 to help them achieve a goal.
The Redkite and Coles Dare to Dream Scholarship was established to inspire teenagers affected by cancer to achieve their goals and ambitions. This scholarship, funded by Coles, helps teenagers build their future. The possibilities that the Dare to Dream Scholarship creates for young Australians are life-changing.

Variety Heart Scholarship
Variety Heart Scholarships support children with a demonstrated talent who are living with a disability, chronic illness, or financial hardship, to reach the next stage of development.

Charlie Bell Scholarship
The RMHC Charlie Bell Scholarship program awards one-off grants of up to $5,000 to deserving young people, giving them the chance to get their schooling or career back on track. So whether the money goes towards university fees, apprenticeship tools, books or supplies, RMHC is there to help them succeed.

Matty Hempstalk Live the Dream Scholarship
The Matty Hempstalk ‘Live the Dream’ Scholarship is awarded annually to a young transplant recipient (aged 12 to 25) to participate in the sporting event of their choice.

Participation Vouchers
KidSport WA
The KidSport program provides financial assistance to WA families to ensure all kids have the opportunity to participate in sport, remain physically active and build long lasting friendships.
Not only can the vouchers go towards club registration fees, they can also be used towards essential playing equipment and uniforms.
KidSport is available to children between 5 and 18 years who are named on a valid Health Care Card or Pensioner Concession Card, with up to $500 available per child, per financial year.

FairPlay QLD
QLD parents, carers or guardians can apply for a voucher valued up to $200 for their child, which can be used towards sport and active recreation membership, registration or participation fees with a registered activity provider. There is a limit of 1 voucher per child per financial year.

Sport Vouchers SA
The Sports Voucher program provides a discount of up to $100 on sport, dance, learn to swim or scouts/guides fees for children living in South Australia in Reception to Year 9, each calendar year. The aim is to increase the number of children participating in physical activity by helping to reduce cost as a barrier.

Sport Vouchers NT
Children living in an urban area of the Northern Territory are eligible to receive two $100 sport vouchers each year. To be eligible, they must be enrolled in school, which includes: transition to year 12 and home-schooled children.
You can use the vouchers for sport, recreation and cultural activities at a registered activity provider. They can also be used for swimming and music lessons within school hours.

Get Active Victoria
Victorian families are eligible to receive up to $200 to cover the costs for membership and registration fees.
To be eligible for a voucher your child/dependant must be:
- aged 0 to 18 years, and
- a resident in Victoria, and
- named on a valid Australian Government Health Care Card or Pensioner Concession Card, and
- named on a valid Australian Government Medicare Card.
You can apply for more than one voucher if you have more than one eligible child. You can apply for multiple children on the one application.

Ticket to Play TAS
Ticket to Play is a Tasmania Government initiative designed to reduce the cost of sport and active recreation membership and/or registration for eligible children.
Ticket to Play provides two vouchers worth up to $100 each towards club membership fees for children aged 5-18 years who are listed on a Services Australia Health Care or Pensioner Concession Card or in approved Out of Home Care. Temporary or provisional visa holders, undocumented migrants or international students can also apply. Vouchers can be used at two different activity providers, or both can be used at one activity provider.

Active and Creative Kids Voucher NSW
NSW families receiving Family Tax Benefit can apply for an Active and Creative Kids voucher for each eligible child.
The voucher is valued at $50 and:
- is available twice a year
- can be used for eligible active or creative activities with registered providers
- must be redeemed before the expiry date on the voucher.
