Germany has officially been announced as the host of the 2026 Transplant Football World Cup, set to take place 6–12 September in Frankfurt am Main.
This incredible global event unites transplant recipients from across the world in a celebration of the gift of life through the world’s game.
Represent Australia in 2026
Transplant Australia will be holding national selection trials in February 2026 for athletes interested in representing Australia on the world stage. Whether you’re an experienced footballer or new to the sport, this is your opportunity to get involved, meet the team and be part of something truly special.
Trial details:
- Date: Sunday 15 February
- Location: Valentine Park, NSW
Cost:
- Trial only: $45 per person
- Football trial with 1 night accommodation: $200 per person
- Football trial with 2 nights accommodation: $355 per person
