Welcome to Transplant Australia – the national charity for organ donation and transplantation.

Membership is free and for everyone!

As the national community voice promoting organ donation and supporting recipients we want to help as many people as we can.

Our offer of free membership extends to anyone on the transplant journey, donor families, living donors and their families, supporters and health care professionals. It also connects you with the relevant state committee to receive local newsletters and event invitations also.

How to join or refresh your membership?

Transplant Australia membership processes have recently undergone some changes, including the set up of a new membership database and changes to membership categories.

Please do not renew your membership via Memnet at this time. You will now be required to refresh your membership details in Transplant Australia’s new system – Game Day.

Normal membership renewal is due to occur in June 2026 for the July 2026 to June 2028 period. However, to ensure a smooth process with regards to registrations for the 2026 Australian Transplant Games in September 2026, Games participants can renew their Transplant Australia Membership for the 2026-2028 period early from the 26th March 2026.

If you are not attending the 2026 Australian Transplant Games – we suggest you wait to refresh your Transplant Australia Membership for 2026 to 2028 until June 2026 when further updates are made to the new system which will make the process easier for you.

Step 1: Pick your level

Transplant Australia offers two levels:

  • Lite Subscriber – Collects minimal information and gives access to official Transplant Australia communications only. Subscribers are not formal members under the Transplant Australia constitution.
  • Full Membership – Collects full membership information and gives access to all Transplant Australia services, programs, and support.

Step 2: Decide on sport & activity participation

Will you take part in sport or physical activity programs run by Transplant Australia or State Committees? This includes:

  • Australian Transplant Games
  • World Transplant Games
  • Camps & Retreats
  • Transplant Australia Football Club
  • Other programs

If yes, you will need to pay the Activity Participation Levy of $60, which covers a 2-year period (from your membership start date through 30 June 2028). This gives you access to these programs and activities.

Step 3: Select your state & complete your membership

To finish your membership, you must select your home state and complete the membership signup

  • Important: You must click your state’s signup page below to complete your registration. At the end, you will receive a confirmation email for your records.

Anti-Doping Policy

The Transplant Australia anti-doping policy is the Australian National Anti-Doping Policy, effective from 1 January 2021, and found here on the Sport Integrity Australia website. All members participating in Transplant Australia-sanctioned sports events, including the Australian Transplant Games and the World Transplant Games, are bound by these rules.
