The Transplant Australia Football Club was one of the first in the world to embrace the ‘beautiful game’ for transplant recipients, living donors and donor families.
Our aim is to raise awareness for the need of organ and tissue donation in Australia and also to highlight the positive lifestyles that can be achieved with the gift of life, by participating in one of the world’s most loved sports.
Transplant Australia Football Club – 2026 World Cup
The Transplant Australia Football Club is proudly representing Australia at the 2026 Transplant Football World Cup in Frankfurt, Germany this September.
Made up entirely of organ and tissue recipients, the team is a powerful example of the life-changing impact of donation.
Thanks to the incredible work of club member Rob Dixon, we’re launching our fundraising campaign in partnership with the Macquarie Group Foundation.
All eligible donations will be matched under the Macquarie Group Foundation’s Non-Profit Support Policy – helping your support go even further.
Every contribution helps get the team to Frankfurt and supports the long-term future of the club.
