Our transplant community has been extremely saddened by the news this week that Clayton Walton, who recently participated as a member of the Australian Team to the World Transplant Games in Dresden, passed away recently.
Clayton, a kidney recipient, was our Volleyball Captain at the Games and his spirit and love of the games was infectious for everyone around him.
Clayton and his wife Sandra have been regulars to both the Australian and World Transplant Games and he spent many years on the NSW Committee.
News of the passing of one of the members of our community is always hard. To have seen Clayton just a few months ago enjoying the Games and the friendship of everyone on the Australian Team, makes this news even harder.
Our thoughts and love are with Sandra and all those who knew him in our community at this difficult time.
