Transplant Australia takes great pride in fulfilling its mission as the nation’s peak community voice for donation and transplantation. We are now pleased to advise we have two vacancies on our Board of Directors both of whom will help shape the strategy of transplantation in Australia and provide important governance overview for this worthy charity.
We are seeking an experienced transplant health care professional to help provide clinical insight and technical expertise to support the Board’s strategic decision-making and act as an important conduit to the nation’s transplant professionals. This new director will follow in the footsteps of a number of leading professionals who have helped shape Transplant Australia’s reputation to government, the media and the clinical profession.
We are also seeking a committed Director with lived experience of transplantation or donation—as a transplant recipient, donor family member, living donor, or someone closely connected to the transplant journey. The insights of those with lived experience are essential.
