The Tasmanian State Health Minister, The Hon. Sarah Courtney, today formally announced Launceston would host the 2020 Australian Transplant Games. She was joined by the Mayor of Launceston, Albert Van Zetten, local heart recipient Mark Brewer and DonateLife Tasmania Medical Director, Dr Andrew Turner, at the announcement at the iconic Cataract Gorge.
The media, local recipients, city officials and sporting body representatives attended the launch.
