The 2018 Transplantation Society of Australia and New Zealand (TSANZ) Conference has kicked off at the Melbourne Convention Centre, bringing together transplantation professionals in medicine and science from across the Tasman.

Transplant Australia is pleased to attend, with a Fit for Life! stand promoting the award-winning global initiative to get more transplant recipients, more active, more often to the healthcare professionals, and sponsoring the Fit for Life run which took place early Monday morning on the 30th April.

It was great to be supported by so many healthcare professionals who turned up for the 5km run despite the rain and cold Melbournian weather!

Wonderful to get the support of these dedicated healthcare professionals for the Fit For Life! 5km run, despite the chilly early morning!

Earlier, 15 transplant recipients met for a Fit for Life walk through Melbourne, led by Victoria’s Fit for Life! Ambassadors, kidney recipient Linda Petrovski, and liver recipient Jennifer Dicker.
